Hi

Have read about doing this only recently , i have searched the threads but cannot source previous comments. Apparently about 300ml. to tankfull improves the burn ,lubrication, much less smoke . Any comments from folks who have tried this appreciated

I think if it were that good, manufacturers would add their own?

I've heard that Mercedes, Audi, BMW and others have suggested a 50/50 mix to smooth and quieten things down a bit.

Let us know how you get on.......

0.3 litre 2 stroke : 70 litres diesel approx 230:1

Google the question there are lots of believers out there - dont knock it until tried

As for oil companies - why dont they add this if its so good ? they probably add similar to the premium diesel types

Well my ford likes old fuel.

Jerrycan of fuel thats been sitting around for a few weeks, it loves it. A dash of castro R or oil and it wolfs it down. If you stick optimax in it, it misses and boils the petrol out of the carb.

But it is 96 years old, and can on a warm day run on neat diesel.

As for adding 2-Stroke, I think all you're doing is taking the potency out of it. And probably lengthening the burn time.

I have a feeling it would mess-up the particle filters very quickly.
