Is is safe to assume it's all go, now the noise limit has been agreed? Hope so

As I understand it, Britcar is a mixed bag when it comes to vehicle types, so what can I expect to see racing on the day? And what Series are you racing in?

Looking forward to my first live Britcar experience.

Many thanks,
Scott

The Jazz is a little quicker than the little Smarts.

Understandable then, if I remember right not as bad as one of the Smart car drivers as they rolled one in their race?

Are you racing on the 24th?

^ Gratuitous plug - slip it in! I like it hehe

I wasn't sure if I was having my leg pulled at first getmecoat but that does look rather good. Be good if we have some Smarts racing too - they defy gravity, not toppling over at every bend. I saw a few Silver liveried Smarts on a trackday - looked like the drivers were having fun.

If you're there Owen, maybe I'll get chance to nip in and say hi (and to anyone else who's gonna be there, racing or otherwise) and check out the car.

Warren does not have any music on his Ipod - just noise smash and a day in the TopCats garage with Warrens Ipod is enough to wipe the smile from anyones face - even Owens

I will be at Silverstone too that weekend - with driving kit - Is there a spare seat in your car Owen ? If the weather is nice, I may even bring my new toy bounce (which will also explain my current lack of funds irked )

You'd usually see the Smart cars too, but they aren't supporting at Silverstone. Their first Britcar race is Donington and then they are supporting at every Britcar race after that.

God, it's beyond 'orrible. Perhaps the noise scrut could condemn it and destroy it with a controlled expolosion?

Wouldn't that exceed the static noise test? :-)

Dunno but I reckon it's Cruel & Unusual Punishment and illegal under the Geneva Convention.

I think you may have a very valid point there..

Trust me, I have spirited that dam thing away many times, but then the noise of Warren bhing is actually worse than the noise from the ipod, so it has always been returned.. If I thought he would not cry, I have seriously considered just dropping it in a pint of water and leaving it on the table in the garage laugh ... but I think it would result is the mother of all hissy fits weeping , and since I still drive his cars ('cos he gets the hump when I drive others) I could not handle the season long agro shout
