There is an amazing IMAX movie about the Blue Angels, it's mind blowing. I saw it at USAF museum at Wright-Patterson AFB. The close formation flying during the inverted steep climb is but rather

I've seen the blue angels perform a few times and whilst impressive their displays are nowhere near as good as the Red Arrows. They just seem far more sedate and just not as snappy or daredevil.

They just have more impressive aircraft, IMO.

One of the most impressive things i have ever seen was the Blue Angels over San Francisco during 'Fleet week'. I am sure they were doing all sorts of stuff they were not supposed to be doing! Fantastic to watch though

+1 for San Francisco Navy week. Whilst judging height is notoriously difficult I swear one of them flew over our heads down California St. Amazing!
