Agreed. Superb stuff but can never understand why any club would want to let that much access behind the scenes. Shame it will all fall down this year however

Fantastically revealing, much worse than you thought it could possibly be. The Indian guys came out of it pretty well I thought but hated the way the Italians plotted among themselves and cynically slagged off and undermined every manager. People like Briatore are never satisfied. They employ weak managers thinking that will make them easier to manipulate, then stick the knife in when their managerial weaknesses (in their opinion) are exposed. Remarkable egotism displayed by people who think they understand football better than the specialists they employ.

Watching him, Briatore and that other curly-haired ice-cream salesman whose name and function I never quite got was like watching a modern day version of the Borgias.

Briatore and Palladini came across well didn't they?! hehe

Briatore just confirmed everything I've ever thought about him being a two faced greasy tt.

Interesting that Briatore and Bernie E both sold their shareholdings when QPR got promoted. You'd think they'd have stuck it out to cream off some of the £42m Prem TV money mentioned – unless of course their ownership contracts allowed them to receive a share of that before the Prem season even started? In which case I could understand them sloping off before the big Prem style bills (for new players, wages etc) started coming in.

It was on Beeb 2 after MOTD so I guess it's on iPlayer. Well worth a watch.

I watched this shortly after learning of AVB's sacking. It made me appreciate Arsenal FC a bit more which, in recent seasons has been overshadowed by criticism of the manager, player and as well as the club itself.

Just watched this, a very interesting documentary. Flav and paladini didn't come across well at all but Amit Bhatia looks to be a switched on guy. A great insight behind the scenes.

What is interesting is if you look up Paladini, it's not too much of a stretch to think he is quite probably a crook who nearly sunk QPR before Briatore got involved. As for Briatore, he is a crook, convicted of fraud in Italy & did a runner to the Virgin Islands before meeting Luciano Bennetton & ending up running his business in the states & making a fortune doing that.
