It'll sell well, and since the Elise/Exige platform was designed as a soft top to start with it will have been cheap as chips to develop. Sensible move. I hate it viscerally.

Far too subtle and boring for an Exige.

Looks lore like a new MR2.

Worse, an MR2 based Ferrari kit car.

I think it looks brilliant. It’s a bit more subtle without all the usual shouty spoilers, but (presumably) still as fast and fun to drive.

Although I do have an MR2, so that may be something to do with it biggrin

Errm an Exige Roadster, shirley that's what an Elise is? At least it looks like an Elise to me!

Aren't you able to remove the roof panel on a normal Exige anyway?

My thoughts exactly. Wasn't the original Exige just an Elise with hardtop and a spoiler?

Apologies if I'm missing some of the finer points. Wouldn't having a V6 in the Elise maintain the consistency of the nomenclature?

Roadster = Elise
Coupe = Exige

In the right colour and wheels in black I think it will look nice.

For a moment I thought that was a bad 360 copy based on an MR2.

I think it looks better in that colour than the last pictures I saw.

Certainly shows how much the Exige has changed since it's inception as a road racer -
