Had the day off work today as requested from my gf.
We decided to go to Mercedes World in Waybridge.
So I pick her and went to get some Vpower juice.
Upon my return my gf presented me with one of those experience package thingy's.
It was a passenger ride in the new SLS AMG!
I was over the moon
So we arrive at the place and first we walked around the Brooklands Meseum, here they have a Concorde on display. You get a tour around the plane and watch a short video of the technical aspects of the plane. It was very good and made you feel very patriotic.
Next we went to Mercedes part where I saw the SLS waiting for me.
The driver warmed the car up for a few laps before picking me up. I got in the car and the guys tells you a brief description of the car. Stuff like it being the most powerful NA V8 ever built.
He then goes on track and literally floors in from the off. I was pinned back into my seat and quickly saw the first corner coming towards me.
I couldn't believe the stopping power of this machine! It was F'ing incredible! The car handled beautifully, the driver was litterally driving the car using only his finger tips. It looked a very easy car to control at the limit.
It's hard to describe all the feelings and emotions I went through but it was epic and something I'll treasure forever.
