Hi

Stewart has done yet another Logo with a unusal theme. I hope you like it?

We are thinking of either white, yellow or TVR Purple for the shirts and caps to show this off what do you think?

Not keen on it as I am a bit of a traditionalist i guess, so would like to see a picture of the Wedge with a TVR logo if we can get away with it, with BBWF 2012 even a Olympic rings on it as it is the year!

Chris

The reason for it looking this way is because one of the charities we are supporting this year is the "Air Ambulance" due to them being the reason I am here today!
Mind you it was not my idea but one of my fellow organisers which I am most gratfull for!
Sorry if you don't like it, back to normal next year!

The picture of the wedge is fantastic but it then looks like someone has ruined it by drawing a palm tree..sorry chopper blades on it while you were out the room making tea..I think also that the olympic rings would look in order placed behind the BBWF writing..After all it is an historical moment that will be remembered long after we have all gone!!..Plus a TVR air ambulance??..Id be worried it would fall out the sky when it cuts out for no apparent reason..I wouldnt wear it on a shirt...Sorry but ive got to be honest...Ziga

Well thats Zig off the list then for a shirt!

Even if my accedent had not happened and this logo drawn, there is no way I would want one with the Olympic rings on! The Olympics have already been a pain in the arse, and it will get worse nearer the event, and lets face it we had to change our event day and its cost more because of it so why show apprecation for it! ranting over!
Please don't think I am against he olympics, just want people to enjoy them self's as long as I don't have to be there!

Andy..like i said im sorry but the blades just make it look tacky!..I respect the fact that you owe the Air ambulance service for saving your legs if not your life and feel that it was an horrendous accident that you have suffered but its about a car not an emergency service or what happened to any one of us..Donating money to them is plenty..I will even give the money to them that i collected for the calendars instead of a childrens charity..Ok scrap the olympic rings but also the blades..If you want to segregate me from purchasing a shirt then fine i will go and get my own made up with my own design..Im not too fussed..Ziga

Zig from the planet Zog!

What you do with your Calander money is up to you as I said earlier. (Private e-mail)

Same goes about a shirt, your the one who doesn't want to wear the BBWF shirt, which a certain amount of the cost goes to charity! That is your own decsion, but as usual you will make a song and dance about!

The aim of BBWF is to have fun share our cars with each other and if we can raise money for good causes. So please just stop being an a_ _ h and you know what I mean!

Now your taking the piss..Which is something ive put up with ever since i joined this forum from you!..Im not being an arsehiole as you so rudely put it..And as far as i can understand its about everyone and not just what happend to you or what and how you want it done..I dont seem to remember reading that a chairman was ever elected by anyone to run the BBWF and all this is self promotional bullst!..All that logo will represent is you and what happened to you..I had an accident where i hit a drunk after he ran out in front of me..I was only doing 25mph..He stopped the car when i hit him and he went up in the air and crashed through my windscreen nearly severing my fingers with windscreen glass he then rolled off my bonnet and died right there in front of me..It affected my life dramatically and i have suffered with agoraphobia up until i bought the TVR,Up to that popint it has felt like ive been in a coma for the last twenty odd years in which time i have lost close friends and family!..So i do not need to be ridiculed all the time..Im not making a song and dance about it even though i write music..Im airing my view which seems to be subject to mass critisism even if i say exactly the same as anyone else!..I can only take so much..I was bullied physically by my father and bullied by others that were older than me when i was a child..So then that forced me to become the bully of bullies and believe me people had respect for me when i was a young man even if they had no teeth left!..I have always tried to help those most needy even when at times i needed help myself..So please enough of backing me into a corner as its becoming dangerously claustrophobic!!..furious..Ziga

And i also think that that neede to be said because at times it has been obvious that anything Mark has said has been blown out of the water at times, with no need.

A bit harsh there MrTank. You asked peoples opinions in your first post, Zig responded saying he wasn't impressed with the blades (palm tree) but the car is good. Certainly no need to start name calling.

And I must say as carob has said, it is an open forum (I wasn't at home when you sent me the design by email) the chopper blades on that logo are bloody awfull and I won't be wearing a shirt with that on. Lose the blades, then no problem.

When we sponsered 'Help The Heroes' last year we didn't have a picture of a riffle or a guy/girl in a wheelchair added on, so I don't think we should have anything added this time. It's about our cars, nothing else.
As you say in the next to last sentance- The aim of BBWF is to have fun, share our cars with each other and if we can, raise money for good causes.

As I said I didn't suggest this logo it was suggested by another member of the BBWF organising comittee!
You know there are reason why you are complaning about this logo etc. I am not going to go into this as its between you and me!
That is why I said dont go there as its our personal beef!
But you have as I said continued i.e.song and dance.
Please be sensable and stop going on. You have been great on this forum and have despite the friendly banter got you car nearly sorted

Andy firstly the reasons why i dont like this logo is the fact that it has rotor blades coming out of it!!...NO other reason..Im not holding grudges at the fact i was so rudely dismissed form being part of this years BBWF organising team and told not to interfere just as i was suggesting the food option even though you said it was beyond stupid..To be honest i didnt expect to be helping this year as i feel someone else deserves a go and it was only the way i was told that peed me off..But that was then and this is now..I do not drag things around with me..As far as im concerned there is no you and me..and i have no beef with you and still have respect for you in a number of different ways..I take my hat off to anyone who puts themself out to help others..Taking on the BBWF after what you have endured is commendable..
Secondly im not "GOING ON" im merely pointing out facts..If i could make a song and dance about it i would be joining in for the saturday nights entertainment at BBWF..But im not and no matter how much rusty i consume i still wont..So please read carefully what i write before you jump down my throat..I can take the banter but when its persistently personal then thats going a little bit too far..My wedge is gradually getting done even on my shoestring budget and i appreciate ALL the help i have received from everyone and that includes you..I would like to shake hands on this and just carry on as normal..(If there is such a thing)..Thank you..Ziga

I like the car but its missing the bonnet air vents, I dont realy like the palm tree vomit, I appreciate what it represents but it does look a little naff pall.
That wouldnt stop me buying one as some of the money goes to a good cause.
Is there any way to have the BBFW 2012 in a RAF style, it would look like it belongs with the car not just stuck on.
Still there is time to tweek it if allowed.

Just my 10ps worth

Hi

Thank you all for your comments!

We are hoping to have the blades amended so they don't look so much like Palm leaves.
Yes it's a bit different this year compared with the last few years but we are trying to help two charities and the Air Ambulance has a bit of a personel thing for me! When I go back to the e-mails/posts from you all, when I was in Hospitial, a lot of you wanted to donate/organise some thing for me, well as I said to Adam "please just get them to donate to the BBWF fund so we can give it to the Air Ambulance" (As they saved my life)
This is the reason why the Air Ambulance theme was chosen for the Logo! If you don't like it I am sorry but Adam was only trying to arrange something different for obvious reasons this year!
