Need advice: C63 Saloon or Estate...??
Discussion
Ok so I'm getting very close to securing a good lease deal on a Mercedes C63 AMG. However I now have the dilemma of whether to go for the saloon or estate. The saloon already has the split/fold rear seats, which is about all the practicality I need, but the estate is cheaper.
So the options are:
1. C63 AMG Estate
2. C63 AMG Saloon which is £15/month more
Does anyone have experience of both?
Any plus/minus points I should be aware of (regarding saloon vs estate, not the C63 itself. I know that has a few bloody big minuses (fuel, rear tyres etc))?

Normally I'd be estate all the way, most audis look better as estate as do older mercs such as the w124 etc, but there's something about the current c class that just doesn't sit right as an estate. Saloon looks far better in my opinion. Not many estates about so they will be good on the depreciation front.
If it was a private purchase I'd go estate as it will be easy to sell. If its a pcp style hand it back deal then depreciation doesn't matter i'd go saloon every time.

I agree with that, older c estates look rubbish however the new one is a vast improvement over the last one , not as cool as the Audis though If it was a private purchase I'd go estate as it will be easy to sell. Well that's almost 100% unequivocal. Obviously this needs to be run past the boss (wife), however she stated she wanted the estate, sorry Wagon, in the first place, so I guess you can see which was this is going.
Anyway, just had finance approval so will discuss with wifey tonight and push the button tomorrow. Next decision...colour

Cost is always a factor! Obviously, as it's a lease (read: finance) deal then I cannot actually afford it. This is partially down to the fact that I only have 1 directorship, but mainly because I'm not powerfully built, don't have a goatee and my current 3 series is not a 335d (mapped).
However back in reality, I just thought I'd mention it in my OP. I mean, £15 whole British pounds a month should get me an extra 30 miles down the road
