Perhaps it is just me but when I click on a link either from someone who posts on here to another thread or via a thread found on google, I seem to often get logged out. If I go in through my bookmark to the What's New page, I'm logged in. Thoughts?

It does occasionally happen to me, too.

Not sure what causes it though.

You know that little boy who buried his dad's car in the sand in the 1990s. Was that you?

It's not so much logging you out, as taking you to a different domain so your cookies are no longer relevant so you have to log in again.

For example: if you log in to .com then follow a link to .co.uk you'll be asked to log in again to reply. Often people omitting the www in front too.

Wow, perfect response. thumbup

I've noticed a lot of people access the site through pistonheads.co.uk, but the PH team only use .com so any links from Facebook, Twitter, or even in the articles themselves are usually to pistonheads.com.

Moral of the story: use pistonheads.com wink

Ah ha!! That is probably it. I come in through the .com domain. Well, this isn't a problem, mind. I might just get all the cookies done every time I am "logged out".
