It's just something about the colour combo. Seems a very good honest and unmolested car, great for high days and holidays. So what's the general concensus re the car's spec, price etc. My only fear is am I becoming a hairdresser (no offence meant to all hairdressing PHers). What's the verdict?

Hi Dave,

Personally I am attracted to humans of the femaly variety but I guess it takes all sorts to make up the wonderful and diverse world we live in biggrin

The price seems a little high but I guess that is beacuse of the extremely low mileage. I am surprised it has had an engine rebuild given it has had such little use. I would definitel want eveidence of the mileage eg every MOT since 3 years old and/or service receipts. It could be that it had been stored for many years without any use and hence required the engine rebuild.

My only concern would be the colour but I guess some people like it !

Wonder why the engine had a rebuild otherwise I really like the look of that.
Good job I don't have a garage to put it in!

The piping on the seats maybe a step too far.

Looks lovely, I've got a 964, its a really great car. Mine had an engine rebuild at 106k miles, so I agree check why it has had work. If not used there are issues with seals, gaskets, oil leaks etc but £6k seems like a lot to get rid of an oil leak. The colour is great, really different.

From the pics the body and interior look in great condition so my guess is that it had a very caring, proud owner. So much so that they wanted the leaks that are inherent to an early non-gasket 964 fixed. Therefore it would require the engine stripping down. A job that would cost something approaching £3K at an Indy and around twice that at a main dealer (who they got to do the work).

Paul is just up the road from me in Sevenoaks. Seems to do a good trade and is fussy with his cars. I think that looks fantastic. If i had room, id buy it - a lovely high days and holidays car.
