I might be a year early but as I am gradually seeing more '12' registrations it got me thinking about next year's '13' registrations.

I was wondering whether this might have an effect on new car buying - will people be put off because they are superstitious about the number 13?

No but it will be the government's excuse when the recession/depression hits car sales. Guaranteed.

I know someone who rejected a car because the numberplate was W742 something, and the numbers added up made 13. Madness.
