986 spoiler wont retract - fuses and relays seem ok.....HELP

I have recently purchased Boxster S 550 Spyder.
When I parked I noticed the spoiler had not retracted and has not done so since. I have tried the manual switch but it does nothing.
When pushing and holding the down switch you can hear the relay click inside the rear boot. The fuses also seem ok.
Any ideas what else to try?

It's possible that the motor has burnt out. This may or not be due to dirt / a lack of lubrication in the mechanism / age, but you'll need an OPC or an Indie to work that out I suspect ....
