Morning all, I've noticed that these e-cigarette thingys are becoming quite common place in the pubs so I thought I'd put it to the PH massive to see if anyone on here uses them and more importantly, are they any good?

We've used them for 5/6 months now, and highly rate them.
I've always able to take or leave smoking anyway, and have the ability to go months without one, then smoke 20 in a night out (I've always been a chain smoker when out drinking), then wake up the next day and not even crave one. I've never been 'addicted' to the nicotine, more the pleasure of the act of smoking itself, when i've fancied it.
My OH was however addicted (first fag with a cuppa within 10 minutes of getting up sort of thing). She had tried a few times to give up but failed using gum, patches etc.
I bought her an e-lites kit and we set a date to give up. Touch wood she hasn't had a real one since. She still uses them, but increasingly less and less, and increasingly later in the day. I enjoy a puff or two in the evening.
She gets her nicotine hit when she wants it and I still get to enjoy 'a smoke' when I fancy it.
I'm convinced that if they did nicotine-free menthol filters she'd never notice (they do nicotine free normal filters but not menthol ones though...)
As with anything, you have got to 'want' to give up 'real fags' anyway, but I think they are the best alternative/option available as an aid.
We've tried a few different makes now. All vary slighly in flavour as brands would anyway, but have the same effect.
BTW, keep an eye out on GroupOn, they always have them on offer at circa 60% off RRP. Infact it works out cheaper to buy multiple kits through GroupOn when there is an offer on than buy replacement filters in bulk from the manufacturers.

there not too bad, I have a e lites aswell.
one thing, I used it for a few days and really was climbing the walls as I needed a real fag, if you are trying to give up there probably a good thing but just as a change to a healthy fag there not that good.
but saying that, it could just be me, addicted and no will power.
