GKN diff questions....

Hi all,
the search is down !!!!
forgive any repeatition...
I am looking to sought my GKN diff (Griff 500 rear filler with fins!), which seems to have a runny nose!
So;
1)is the breather removable and cleanable? (if so whats involved?)
2)is the nose/input/pinion seal home/amateur mechanic replacable? (if so whats involved?)
3)is said seal available for less than £40!!! (if so where?)
4)is there a crush washer behind the big nut at the front? (if so do i need a new one?)
5)is said crush washer available for less than £25? (if so where?)
Any other advise from people who have done this job in past gratfully received!
