Engine Bay Tarting Up

Whilst doing other bits and pieces, I'm tarting up under the bonnet, as IMO the Rover V8 is as ugly as sin. I want to overbraid most of the hoses, and have seen on other cars some very nice looking jubillee clips with chromes buttons that fit over the head of the worm drive.

I think the fake compression fitting clips are a bit bulky (and pricey) but if anyone has any other suggestions, I would be very grateful.

Coloured silicon hoses? At least that way there's a 'performance' benefit (longevity) as well

Yeah, done that with the water pipes and inlet hose. Bought blue, not so sure about the colour now. Thought if everything was black, alloy, stainless or chrome, it keeps it all neutral.
