Hello, can someone enlighten me on wheel spacers, please? As in, what do they do and what effect would they have on a 997 C4?

Is it just an aesthetic thing?

Is installation just a question of removing the wheel and bunging them on? Are there any better or worse ones?

Thanks in advance!

I'll be fitting my rear 17mm wheel spacers this Friday and posting pictures and write up on this thread. They are the same spacers for 996 or 997. More soon...

Yes, I think they give wider track and sharper steering, turn in.

Less is more. 5mm all round on a 4s looks great and has no noticeable effect on anything - although you should use longer bolts. Just fill the arches a bit more - an issue with the factory spec at the back I think.
