Anyone tried this?

Does it taste of marzipan?

Could you use it in tea?

Cheers,

You saw that advert too!

Might risk a couple of pounds and try it.

Is this the Alpro stuff? I picked up a carton a few weeks ago and it has (to my taste buds) only the slightest hint of almond. I was hoping for something more like liquid marzipan wink

Don't think I'll buy another carton but I'll give the hazelnut a go at somepoint.

It's really easy to make your own nut milk.

Just add 1 part unsalted blanched nuts (cashews are good) to 4 parts water, and blend for 2-3 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve and use.

Nut milk does work in tea and coffee, but it tends to separate.

In my experience (making peanut milk) you dont need to steep your crushed nuts too long to impart a moderate flavour. depends on the nuts i guess.

I bought the Hazelnut the other day - it's pretty good, not as special as I'd hoped though!

I've had chocolate bars made with almond milk instead of normal moo juice and it was absolutely fantastic. lick
