Photos taken while bored

A period of boredom last night led me to take this. No idea why; it serves no purpose and I doubt I'll ever do anything further with it. But it was fun nevertheless.

try not to touch the camera so set the shot up before hand, i found a remote works well for this but the selftimer should be ok, best tip of all have fun doing it, i did one with me throwing a chair at myself and another of me falling down stairs (not uploading either)

I found it easier to make sure that at no point did I cross myself in another picture, just to make the PS work easier - however in HO HO HO's he does cut across and it seems to work ok.

The camera is irrelevant - you just need a tripod

Set up the camera on a tripod, fix it in the position you want the photo. Then take one photo of you (on left side of frame, for example).

Then go and take another, completely separate photo of you in the middle of the frame.

Then another completely separate photo of you on the right of the frame.

Then, now with 3 completely separate pictures, open them all in photshop. Layer them, and rub out all of the bits, except you, on all but the base layer. Done


(when taking the photos, I used the 10 second timer on my 30D, or you could have someone else take the photo or use a remote)
