Let's face it we've all got some new or used spare parts for our classics tucked away somewhere or other on our property. Many of which will never get put to the use that you acquired them for.
Therefore I propose that we list them on here and create a virtual PH classic car.
So we need the basics first:
chassis & complete body (or monocoque)
complete engine (& ancilliaries), gearbox & drivetrain
exhaust system
fuel tank & pump
steering rack & wheel
4 brakes
min. 2 seats
4 wheels
4 tyres
lights
bumpers
dash & instruments
windscreen & any other windows
Any interior & exterior trim
My own stocks are very thin these days as I tend to include any relevant spare parts with the sale of any car I let go, so I can only offer a Vauxhall Carlton instrument cluster and 2 x 200mm wide section Michelin TRX tyres, which don't seem to fit any known car!
So aside from the instruments and 2 tyres feel free to contribute whatever you can from the above list (and anything I have missed) to help create this virtual prototype.

Jensen Interceptor rear seats, door cards and console

So it's going to be a Dolomite-based special then, with the following parts:
Corvette 327 V8 engine and T10 gearbox, breathing through a Porsche 356 exhaust (maybe a little short). Fed by a Mini fuel tank (possible range issues here) with a Fulvia sender. Camaro front suspension with Mini rear running on DS wheels (handling could be interesting) running TRX tyres, with a damaged R32 spare. MX5 brakes all round (safe).
Inside we have an Opel Monza steering wheel, with Vauxhall Carlton instruments on a DS dashboard and a Golf gearknob. Gordon Keeble front seats, separated by an Interceptor console with matching rear seats and door trim (sounds very luxurious).
Probably be a bit like a budget 1970s De Tomaso Deauville rival.
However, we've only got one light so far (a rear from a Fulvia), so we won't be off to the MOT station just yet.

I think we'll have those lever arms on the rear, rather than the Mini set-up. I don't think having non-matching rear lights is an MOT failure, so we'll also have the Laguna rear light and we should have that C8 wheel as the spare. So what's left? Maybe a pair of headlamps & windscreen wipers, pedal box, 4 indicators and horn?

Thats going to be epic! Will the engine fit in the Dolomite shell.
