Dip dim problem has returned -already fixed common melt prob

I have already had burned out wiring prob that i fixed by soldering spades to pcb. Prob has now returned and I am guessing at component failure.

Does anyone have the logic of what I should see from a correctly working unit? I seem to be getting some strange results from my multi meter and my brain is too small to understand. In the processes of documenting what I get, but got to do some work this pm!

Are there any other black boxes I need to be aware of other than dip dim box? (search is out again)

Have done the basic stuff (bulb works and fuse check)

On top of fuel tank there should be two lighting boxes, one Dim Dip and not sure what other one is called but would check all is ok on this aswell.

Had another burnt out connection in the light swiching unit so out with the soldering iron again tomorrow....
