Hi All

Recently acquired these repro Sparto lenses.

Unfortunately the company don't make the bulb/lens holder, and I am unsure which style it should be.
Is it this:

This:

Or neither confused Repro lenses are 70mm Dia, (not shown very well in my pic)

Any help would be great smile

I the past, I have used the top rubber gasket BUT then used an alloy version the OE back plate twice one to support the rubber as it abuts the grill with large holes in and then the back version made with clinch nuts in to accept the bolts.

Hi Adrian,

Thanks for the help, looks like plenty of those rubber holders on the auction site, but they all seem to be for a smaller diameter lens.
Can understand the need for support grill wise. smile

Here are a couple of images of the original holders that were on my car.

As you can see, there're well past their best, and were replaced with the original Landrover parts when the car was restored.

Hope it helps

I spoke to a classic Landrover dealer yesterday and it seems the part you (and I) require is very rare. I did pick up a complete Sparto bulb holder plus new chrome ring for £3 from an auto jumble but I'm still hunting for a second one. If you do find a LR dealer that has any I would be very interested.
