I have a renault trafic that I want remapping to give it some more grunt when loaded etc. Can anyone recommend anywhere? I saw it on offer for £150 the other day, but I don't know where that was now as I just came across it and didn't save the page.
Cheers!

Where abouts in the Midlands? Try Black Code in Stafford or P-Torque in Wolverhampton?

I had my new Trafic re-mapped by Superchips about a year ago. It's a long wheelbase Sport that was doing on average 37 MPG both on the computer and on the old filling up routine. I was a bit wary of spending the £400 or so for the re-map and expressed this to Superchips and told them that the two week period was too short to be able to really assess the re-map before asking for my money back if I felt it didn't pay for itself. So they obliged with a 30 day money back period, this enabled me to do a real world test and I have to say that first of all the van runs really smoothly on tickover and low speed, the 'sweet spot' in the torque has come down from 2300rpm to about 1800 RPM and it pulls like a train. The result is a constant 41 MPG even with the air-con on, and a much nicer driving experience altogether. If I choose to do 'traffic light Grand Prix starts' and I can assure you it is very quick for a van and drive in a more spirited fashion it returns about 38 MPG only down side is a bit of black smoke when accelerating hard. I buy my vans brand new and drive them with care and service them properly and I always keep them for 10 years (my last van had 180,000 miles on it so I get my moneys worth out of them) I did look around to see what else was available and decided to give Superchips a try, its still on my van and I like everything about the re-map.
