the sort of driving i do is mainly motorway, but not enough to warrent another derv

Or is it worth paying a bit more £300 pa for a 1.8t

If not what else should i be looking for thats a bit diffrent, quite on the motorway and not a MX5? and also insurable by a strapping young 19 year old such as my self

I could be wrong, but isnt it the same 1.8 they used in the Vectra?

If so, it is a woeful, piss poor excuse for an engine. It used to feel strained on the motorway and the mpg was pretty crap too.

Sure the 1.8t is a de tuned 2.0t around 150hp? Maps to over 200, though!

1.8T all day long. More power and far more flexibility if you ever fancy modding it. As mentioned the 1.8 N/A in the Vectra was fairly average.
