Can anyone confirm the precise length of the 4.5 cats? - I've got some old 4.2 cats and pipe that I want to fabricate decat pipes from but I know the 4.5 cats I have fitted at the moment are a different length (shorter) than my knackered 4.2 ones.

Have you seen the cheap ones on ebay sir,may save some hassle just to buy some.I think i am going to need some soon as mine is up for mot next month.The guy who is doing my mot has some 4.5 cats spare on the garage floor at the moment..while his cerb is being up ,so this will sort the car out till i source some.

Can't see any decat pipes on Ebay Spongy? - have you got the item number please as anything to save a bit of effort is appreciated.

Racetechdirect list the cats as 445mm long for a 4.2 and 410mm for the 4.5

i think a couple of the breakers yards were advertising them for about £60 a pair.

Just to confirm - the 4.5 cats are 410mm long. I've just taken mine off and fabbed up some straight pipes - fairly typically I've just run out of CO2 so can't weld them up fully until BOC open again.
