Vibrating Ads

The Ads that shake/vibrate (see picture) on the main PH homepage, SUCK BIG TIME. Sorry, but that's the truth of the matter. I don't normally run an ad blocker, but am sorely tempted to install one now. Please don't tell me that you simply sell the space and have little or no control over the content...that would be even more sad. -David, a long term PH fan.

Our ads are a mix between campaign ads (ads you would expect from a site like PistonHeads) and google adsense (or DoubleClick, same thing). If I recall correctly, our campaign ads don't show outside the UK and you're in Poland. Correct me if I'm wrong.

What you're seeing above is definitely from Google Adsense. It might be worth a try editing your ads preferences from this Google Adsense link: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/html/faq.htm...

This will not only help your visits on our site, but every other site out there that uses AdSense (most sites do).

Thanks for the quick reply, and apols if I was slightly harsh, but those particular ads make the page almost unreadable. Will adjust settings as you've suggested, and correct, am based in Poland. Cheers, David.

hmmm, not that easy of course. My location and resulting ads are not part of the profile that I can change
