Only very short just the first time I used it going to get a few of my Elise hopefully too.

I think having another car with you to do tracking shots would make it alot better.

Sorry to hijack your thread chaps, but can the gopro do time-lapse? I need a camera - waterproof - that will snap away over 24 hours to capture a kayak trip.

It will do time lapse but the battery won't last 24 hours

I thought that was brilliant.

Nit picking, my thoughts would be:

It's a shame you can see shadows of the Go Pro and mount in places, worth considering where the sun is in relation to the bits you're filming (ie better to have the camera on the other side or use outside shots where the sun is in a different position relative to the car?)

I think the running shots looking forward would be better if you could see some of the car bodywork, ie rather than putting the camera right at the front, put it on the top of the windscreen looking down the bonnet so we can see those evocative 911 wings.

The interior shots looking forward are shaky. Not much you can do I guess other than try and only use those where filmed on a smooth road.

The sound is poor. A Go Pro problem I know. Have you got the completely encased case on? There's an open backed one that comes with it that lets a lot more noise in. (I've made this mistake).

Finally, clean the car so we see nice shiny pipes!

But as I say, this is nitpicking and I'm only commenting on them as you've specifically asked for feedback. These are the bits that I noticed in a negative way, but the majority of it I thought was great, especially the effort you went to to get three or four different angles of coming back to the house for instance.

Do Go Pros only come with the one sound track now?

See now that shot of the front wing, that's what I'm talking about.

Do you guys use the suction mount to fix it to the bodywork? I'm terrified of it falling off (not that I've tried it on a car yet).

That encapsulates my thoughts too, but, I'll be very quick to point out that I'd be nitpicking too.. Really good video, appreciate the amount of work that went into it based on the assumed ownership of 1 Go Pro!

How do you get away with the soundtracks and copyright? I want to do it right but I really don't want to have to pay, especially when I'm not making money from the videos.

Yeah, i only noticed all of that when I came to edit (you can also see it in the car's wing mirror .......lesson for next time.

.....it fell off at one point too, think i'll try a diff solution next time.

The reason for a soundtrack......i'll try the open back on the static shots next time too. Not good for the outside moving shots though....too much wind noise.

.......you got me there.

Yes I used the suction cup for all the shots.....no problems, though did tether it at first.

An as for copyright......other than an email from youtube telling me it had third party content, no issue.......after all it's only for my own use, not profit.
