I may have accidentaly bought myself a Boxster without telling the mrs so question is how do I hide it until I can find the right moment to tell her (could be a while)

Any ideas on cheap car storage in Warrington?

I'm fully expecting the abuse about thumbs etc but any helpful comments gratefully received.

Just put in a barn, sprinkle liberally with hay, wait a few days and hey presto! Barn find.

Leave it in a rough part of town, someone else will hide it for you.

+100 man point for buying it without her permission

-500 man point for not having the balls to tell her you purchased it.

I'd suggest hiding it behind your balls, but you don't seem to have any.

You could try hiding under your wife's thumb, but there seems to be no room under there.

Just get your mate to drop it round and ask if he can leave it at yours for a while, as the wife grows to love it buy some private plates, mate takes "his" car back, put the plates on and drive your new car home.. wife non the wiser..

your wife must be seriously dumb for this to work.

Sounds great in theory & I've done it before with TVR but we weren't married with children then & she will think of sooooooo many more things that are higher priority.

& I know it's a girls car but a 2001 Boxster S with fsh 2 owners & 82k miles for £5k couldn't be passed over.

Tell her you bought it as an investment, or even better it's an appreciating classic.

Any DIY/Decorating stuff she's been demanding around the house? buy the supplies for that. Turn up with them in the boxster. Claim B&Q had a buy one get one free offer.
