Hi,

Sadly think it might be time to sell. How do you go about privately selling a TVR, knowing that every buyer will want to investigate underneath?

Do you strike up a deal with your local garage so you can use their ramp? Get a couple of jacks? Take a lot of photos beforehand and hope for the best? Leave it for people to arrange own private inspections?

Sorry - never done this before. Cheers for the help.

Just make sure that you have a Jack and axlestands available when they come round. I brought my own when I was buying, but had some mixed responses from sellers when I wanted to jack the car up and tap away with a small hammer to listen for deadness in the pipes
