Any benefit of fitting to the 450? The trumpets may need cutting down and/or a spacer fitting but they measure:
46mm internal bore
length 54mm-68mm above the casing
I think mine are 38mm bore
Plenum intake is 65mm internal bore so prob the same as my 450 which is 72mm i believe outside diameter.
What you guys think?

Wouldn't be surprised if yours are more modified than the ebay ones Jim. The 450 engines were very well built & had the larger bore plenum. The 500 plenum on ebay will be a downgrade for the 450.
Well last Saturday i kept up with Kelwedge's 270bhp 4.6l 350i without too much trouble......

Its good to know your 450 can keep up to a 166,000 mile 350i under those conditions. Yep have to admit your 450 looks stunning after the effort you have put in this winter, you said you had done it all, Sid told me he fixed your loud bit
I also seem to remember another time when the 450 just got smaller and smaller in the mirror
Might go down yarmouth tomorrow for an ice cream, if the sun shines and time permitting, you?
