Gorgeous hotel - great cider - 996 outside

So, we're moving house this weekend and the wife's told me to hoop off for the weekend.
I've been at a posho place in Newquay since Thursday but it's a bit of a necropolis. The most exciting thing likely to occur is the 'coming of the ambulance' (Dread Vehicle).
I took my 98 996 C2 for a 150 mile trip around the Atlantic Highway (!) and Exmoor earlier which was bloody great. Now I'm installed in the bar again with the rejects and indeed Regents of Play Your Cards Right...
Ergo all I can think of is baling out at 0300 and heading for That London - just me, the Porker, Handel and fun fun fun
To all the cynics - I bought this wonderful car for £12500 in Jan - I've done 10,000 miles in it so far (hit 100k miles today in Bodmin) and if the engine has a catastophic sense of humour failure then I'll fix the bugger. It's worth it.
Summary - best car I've ever had. Bloody love it. Bargain.
