14 Evoques, all with UK 11 plates, on two Czech car transporters (Prague registrations) photographed today on the exit road directly above Dover harbour (I assume they'd just arrived in the UK rather than just driving though Dover town which would make it less interesting).

I know I should have more things to worry about (such as old issues of Top Gear in dress shops), but...

I saw these on the m2 this late afternoon, i wondered why they where heading london bound. Why would land rover pay a czech company to come over and pick them up and then bring them back, unless there the same outfit that collect all the damaged cars you see piled on them, normally around ramsgate/sandwich area that they then transport back home.

The same reason you see the UK full of East European trucks, they do it a lot cheaper then British companies

Yep, they can drive here for free (UK trucks can't) and they don't have to pay our cartel-fixed prices for diesel.

I think the UK is the only country in europe and possibly the world that allows foreign hauliers free access to their road system.

As Mister.T has correctly identified - they're Land Rover owned cars. OV and OE number plates are the giveaway - LR fleet are currently all on those prefixes

Are these not released yet then? Only reason I ask is because they are everywhere over here in Ireland, and I'm pretty sure some were owners cars as one had a dog in the back!

Fantastic looking cars in my opinion, especially in the flesh!

They are released yes. I do like them, only ever seen one in the flesh and that was also a LR fleet car which was brought up by one of their staff who was holding a recruitment presentation at my Uni smile
