free parking anywhere near wakefield?

I have to go to Wakefield for a few days next week, to a place not far from Westgate train station, was just wondering if anyone knows anywhere near by that I could park from around 8am to 3pm without paying or risking a ticket? If not I'll just get a train, I don't mind walking up to a mile though if necessary

I'd probably get the train. The places you can park for free are probably not the bast places to be leaving the car!

yeah i thought that would be the case, train it is then! the train fare is cheaper than it'd cost in petrol anyway so double win
