Window motors

Does anyone know if there is an upgrade for the window system; motors etc? In comparison to my Mazda it is pitiful and really does take some of the shine off the car.

Is there another system that can be used, or a stronger motor?

The wiring into the door is fine, pop a couple of relays at that point and they will fly up, no amount of spray will improve poor wiring !

Sorry a bit short of info! Take a new voltage supply through relays, use the original wiring to turn these on, then the thin wire is fine.

Spraying oil won't do much but greasing up the racks properly will, you only need more current because there is extra work for the motor to do due to poor lubrication. Extra work requires more current at which point the supply mod will help, but it may not be needed at all.

OP - I would grease up the racks first and see how you go (it can only improve matters regardless), if you are still not happy then David has the next step. Mine are 100% original, greased up every few years and continue to work a treat, not everything on these cars requires a mod, but lots of things need maintenance.
