remember a time when fuel was reasonably priced and Boy George Osbourne didn't attempt to cripple every motorist with taxing everything, o those were the days

I'm pretty sure people have always whined about fuel prices.

No... this is reasonably priced

That's per US gallon and works out at £0.65 per litre

Can't wait to move back to the USA

I'm a mere whippersnapper (unusual Dickensian insult I know) at 28 but when I started driving it was 70ppl.

Must be arse for the current generation passing their tests at current fuel prices.

I paid over £1.60 per litre the other day for diesel, £7.20 a gallon. I don't understand how people are coping to be honest.
