Wish they would, but just a stunt, the bloke behind the GTR wasn't keen on his baby being ruined...

The Juke R is just a one off, I think its been made. However there is going to be Juke Nismo and I think it starts production at Sunderland later this year.

I imagine it will have a tuned version of the 1.6 turbo engine, maybe with a better exhaust system and a few cosmetic tweaks.

Not interested in a warm hatch, but a baby GTR would have been perfect for me

It's not really a baby GTR, though? It's a very powerful SUV!

Hideous thing. It looks like an old Nissan Micra on steroids.
Its hideousnessnessness is part of the appeal

It just looks like its trying hard to please. A car should look understated or within its segment understated to a degree. This concept shouts look! Look! I'm a schoolrun car for Dads trying to regain my youth.

I prefer my cars as hidden power, a wolf in sheeps-stuff.
Why should all cars look understated?

Corrected for you wink

Agree with others a hot 1.6 is more likely on its way no doubt but no way will we see a the concept put into full production

i would buy one in an instance, fook the golf

but seeing as they are made like a DTM touring car you could probably get a 458 cheaper frown

Considering it's main competitor looks like this, I don't think the Nismo Concept's looks are too wide of the mark.

Whose sat back at Nissan and gone, "Yeah, that's it. The Juke is the perfect candidate from our line up to whack our stonking 3.8l twin turboed V6 in."

..although it is good publicity.
