Pug 306 TPS error?

Way back from its MOT the Pug threw an ECU code. Investigation reveals an error with either;
Throttle Position Sensor
Pedal Position Sensor
Switch Circuit B Malfunction
I can clear the code on my reader, but the warning light never seems to go off, and as soon as I scan the ECU again it throws up the same code. The car has run fine on a 25 mile run; both duel carrigeway and around town, and throttle response seems ok. Do I just leave it? TPS is pretty simple to replace, but seems pointless if its actually working fine. Could do without throwing more money at it just now. Any suggestions?
