Removing the pussies.......

I think I will be removing my main cat and pre-cats this summer and going for either Clives Y piece or the ACT one....

Reason? Want the sound I have already heard, and reduce temps under the bonnet.

The trouble is, I have the older bolted manifold to Y piece...

I believe I have to remove the manifolds, replace them with a set off a later car (after removing the precats, of course) so I can use either of the Y pieces?

Or is there another way to do this? (and no, I want to leave my silencer stock).
