Seat Bolster

Just noticed these on ACT's website



Now, as it happens, my bolster is ok, but is starting to show signs of wear, might be a good idea to preserve it? I know some peeps have had the bolster wear completely through/rip so the £25 Tim wants for these would be far cheaper than getting the seats recovered.

(PS Tim, if you're listening, you should have given the car you used a hoover in the back first lol)

Yup already got one!
Helps that my interior is black so not very noticeable, fits pretty well with a bit of velcro on either side.

I do see the sense in this but it looks a bit too Halfords / Ripspeed boy racer special to me.

Personally I'd give the Cerb some love and get it retrimmed.

I agree, although passable on a black interior especially and/or you already have some other cf 'highlights'

Ha ha yes Fubes, it doesn't look so good on that seat colour either, tell you what mate, you can have one FOC in return for a nice picture of one fitted to a black seat.
Also for those thinking it looks a bit boy racer, fare comment, but there's an easy intended solution = cover it with leather / vinyl.

Being stronger than tungstanium, it feels no pain and returns to work immediately even if it has whiplash. This is why it's better than steel, which calls claims direct and stays on benefits.

Well, true to his word, Tim sent me a CF bolster cover and its a lovely thing, easy to fit even for a simpleton like myself and looks better on a black chair IMO.

And £25 is way cheaper than a retrim
