Hoping to go up to Donington to watch the BTCC in April (raceday on the Sunday). Problem is that it's just a few days before my other half is due to produce Sideways jnr mk2, so ideally I don't want to pre-book a ticket just in case she's early.
Are tickets likely to be still available on the day, or is this one of the events that actually draw a capacity crowd? Every time I've been there the place has been near on deserted, but these are normally smaller club type events.

Thanks.

I'm thinking of going this year also, just planning on paying on the day though. Never been to a BTCC race and pre-booked tickets, always got in with no issues.

I've not heard of a BTCC event being sold out in advance for a long time. Actually I'm not sure I've ever seen it. You'll have no trouble getting tickets on the day.

You don't save much by pre-booking anyway as they lump on card charges etc. Ridiculous. The only good thing about it is you can show your ticket and walk in, rather than queueing up to buy one at the gate.
