just found Jason is now on facebook, there are some interesting photos of his Tuscan racecar, and some good pics taken at the factory of the speed 12.

Would love to see some up to date pics of his Racing Speed Six Tuscan, can't see any on them sites.

there is one a few weeks old showing the mould being taken for the rear end, says on there as well that it may be unvieled at chatsworth

There was a Speed12 engine sat on the floor last time I was at TVR Power... dunno who it belonged to but much better use could be being made of it ...

Str8-Six race engine,

GT 4Ltr Speed Six.
Crossbolted & destressed block.
EN40B steel crankshaft.
H-section steel conrods.
96mm Omega race pistons.
Gasflowed cylinder head.
GT spec camshafts and finger followers.
Tuftrided & wasted valves.
Uprated valve seats.
Double valve springs.
Uprated aux chain kit.
Geared down pumps.
Uprated roller bearing 1/2 time.
Modified Spesso headgasket.
MBE 975 ECU running 12 injectors sequentially.
Upper injectors fazed in from 2500 rpm.
Uprated roller bearing throttle bodies.
Bespoke carbon airbox with optimum ram air intake.
Ceramic coated headers with bespoke side exit exhaust system.
Lightweight flywheel.
AP Racing twin plate sintered paddle clutch.
6 Speed sequential gearbox.
Limited slip diff (plate type)
Electric pumps & oil coolers for diff & gearbox.


8200 rpm rev limit.
Built to run hard for 50hrs

do you know how much BHP/ LB/FT it's banging out?

though he wants to tell everybody it's only banging out 300BHP just like the Racing Rover boys do, hehe

This maybe the 'lost' engine that was sat around in a crate (I believe it may have been a bit broken, V8Griff mentioned seeing a Speed 12 engine that left 'a nasty oil stain' on the floor when he was at Bristol Avenue once).
