I have to say that I've been thinking recently about LS3 conversions. With a conversion, the whole idea of using the Cerb as a daily driver then starts to become quite appealing. I'm getting the chassis tidied up shortly and with the rest of the car being very reliable... Hmmm...

OK, so the missus has been on at me about getting her a Mini... but she likes using my RRSport as a runabout. Now if I can re-direct those funds. scratchchin

Tell me why I shouldn't?

Saw your thought while I was lurking! There are lots of reasons why you should like you can enjoy the car every day like you were meant to. Some will say it is a shame but then how many Cerberas are original and unmodified - not many.

I guess you should!

Surprisingly, for a topic that has previously elicited some excellent discussion, no one has offered a good reason why you shouldn't.

Now, can anyone offer a good set of DIY instructions for how we do it?
Is the best/easiest option to use a TKO600, T56 or T5 gearbox?
Anyone have a set of drawings for the engine / gearbox mounts and chassis modification components?
Exhaust manifold designs .... etc

Personally I wouldn't convert an AJP8 engined car but if anyone's got a budget priced Speed 6 Cerb anywhere I'm interested ... wobble
