Car finance. Individual versus Ltd company?

Not up on finance matters so apologies if a dumb question but.....................If looking for car finance the loan companies/banks credit check the individual applying but if it's a Ltd company that's requiring the loan for a company car is this checked on the company rather than the individual?

In a word - yes.

If they want a guarantor as well then that person will also be credit scored.
