Hi People

A story short (ish)

Sunday
Filled wedge up went for a drive for an ice cream as you do! 85 miles later return home only quarter tank of fuel, Park wedge engine running, smell air! think oops Petrol look under car and petrol is driping out near the fuel pump over the wires and onto the ground yikes Panic and hit the fuel pump kill switch. (you may not have one of them)
Anyway play around a bit and it became clear the leak was near the pump not coming from the tanks so with all my jacks, axle stands car ramps still in storage and me being lazy and fed up. went and had a drink

Monday
So rang my local garage near my work and said can you look please.

Today
Set off to work with the quarter tank of fuel and dont want to stop anyplace and get a puddle! so put foot down 15 miles later get there with no fuel!

Car on Ramp 10 minutes later, and the connection joint, Nut, union or whatever you call it between the petrol pump and the fuel pipe going out had split into three bits, dont look like it had been hit just looked old! well thats the two bits on the car the third bit was totally missing so how it held on, we have no idea. Still it makes a change from the recent electric issues.

Might be worth checking yours

Still good excuse to wedge it to work
