Just watched Part 1 and 2 of the 'Mesrine' films - based on a true story...

Funnily enough, the fact that they were subtitled somehow disappeared for me, my brain kinda dialled into subconcsiously watching the on-screen action and subliminally reading the English subtitles at the same time - spooky, after a while I just didn't even realise I was reading on screen subtitles!

A pair of well-produced, strong films that held my attention right to the last, IMHO.

Enjoyable and well worth a recommendation.

And Mesrine? Well, he was a nasty bugger, and no mistake! biggrin

Great films, love the attention to detail in the French traffic at the time, all those cars right for 1979 at the time of his death.

Sad I know, but it's the little things...hehe

For anybody who hasn't seen it here's the first few minutes, worth it for the background cars and the 528. smile

Watched both parts a couple of weeks ago and really enjoyed them. It's definitely worth a watch.

Superb films, I watched them back-to-back and was gutted when I realised the 2nd film was coming to an end.
