Mesrine - French Public Enemy No.1...
Discussion
Just watched Part 1 and 2 of the 'Mesrine' films - based on a true story...
Funnily enough, the fact that they were subtitled somehow disappeared for me, my brain kinda dialled into subconcsiously watching the on-screen action and subliminally reading the English subtitles at the same time - spooky, after a while I just didn't even realise I was reading on screen subtitles!
A pair of well-produced, strong films that held my attention right to the last, IMHO.
Enjoyable and well worth a recommendation.
And Mesrine? Well, he was a nasty bugger, and no mistake!

For anybody who hasn't seen it here's the first few minutes, worth it for the background cars and the 528.
