Thought you may be interested to hear about these little gems:

We’ve just found 2 unregistered, unsold chimaeras in Cyprus. They’ve been in a bonded warehouse for about 10 years (awaiting paperwork to confirm the full story).

We have acquired them for a customer of ours who collects cars & owns many other British gems – these will be the first TVRs in his stable.

Both have power steering, air con, Km clocks & according to the plates were made for Malaysia (which I presume is why they are factory fitted with a/c). Both cars fired up straight away, one looks pretty pristine (under the dust!), the other has a torn rear screen & as a consequence has suffered a bit of cosmetic damage due to short term water ingress (apparently they pushed the cars outside a few weeks ago).

We’re awaiting clearance for temporary release from the bonded to our garage so we can get them on the ramp & carry out full inspections.

007 has 232 Kms

005 has 233 Kms

PS – also spotted at the warehouse, a V8 Morgan & a Delorean!! What an Aladdins cave, they almost had to throw us out!!

The Morgan, for anyone interested!:

Wow interesting!
Nice find too - were they 400 / 450 / 500's?

What will these sell for, once prepped?

Hi Malcster,

Both 400's. A price (subject to no major issues being found during inspection & I doubt that as both fired up & sounded sweet after all this time) has been agreed between the previous owner & our customer. We will only be responsible for the big love-up they both need. So unfortunately I'm not able to let you know the price, customer confidentiality & all that jaz!

I can confirm that they are going to a really good home, they will be stabled with a couple of beautifully restored E-Types, a Ferrari 355 & various other great classics. We love this customer - his passion for cars (particularly British cars) is inspiring.

Looking forward to them arriving here - will post more pics once we get them on the ramp!!

Nice find. Low mileage and no previous owners!
The back lights are the old Ford festa ones from no later then early 1998 and yet the cars have been stored there for only 10 years? Where did the other 4 years go?
