in a service station on the M40 (somewhere) three wedges in the petrol station, all heads turned when one by one they joined the motorway leting out that infamous exhaust note, music to my ears

If they were red, they could have made it to Stratford on Avon for the day. I was in Austin Reed in the middle of town when I heard a Tiv-like rumble, so popped out to see a personal plate 460 SEAC and a G plate 350? go by. Didn't see the third wedge, if it was them.

Well spotted that was indeed Father Ted, AM400 & newbie ex wedgeless with my less than day old aquisition !!!

Thanks for the reference and glad you enjoyed the aural stimulus - it was even better later that afternoon when 80+ wedges took to the lanes of Warwickshire!!!! A superb day to remember, until the next Wedgefest (particularly if you live near Ettington I should think!)

Wedgeless (I suppose I will have to change that now).
