Diary of selling a car on PH classifieds

Yesterday:

Advert placed on PH at 9am.

4 Emails received.

3 saying nice things about the ad, 1 forum user possibly interested.

Today:

1 call from a man who sounded like he was down a drain. Message is "I'm calling about the car. Give me a call back." No name, no number.

Roll on the 'best price bruv innit' brigade.

Nothing special, an old Golf GTI.

I must say I'm rather upset I haven't been inundated with people offering me a Twix or something like you read in the General Gassing section. Oh well, I'm sure there is time.

Gumtree is more fun - I removed my ad last time as it got so silly.

The last straw before I removed the ad and went to WBAC was someone looking for me to deliver the car to him 200 miles away that day for half the price it was up for. He got quite abusive when I refused and asked if he read the advert

The best px I was offered was a dead engined pink vx tigra - via text and got a shirty reply when I said no thanks.
