Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion 5th Anniversary Edition

I'm thinking of getting the above game.

Buying instead of Skyrim, (this is £12 rather than £30 for Skyrim) I gathter it was very well thought of, and it seesm this edition includes the action packs.

Is there anything I should know prior to purchase? Does it run OK on Win 7? Can it be played offline , or do you have to have a connection to play?

Any opinions/advice anyone?

It runs well on Win7 and is in general an outstanding game. I think I love Skyrim better and suspect you will too so definitely play and enjoy Oblivion first as I feel a bit as if Skyrim has spoiled it for me now.
