944 Tyre Pressures

Hi,
After 18 months of asking the odd question I've just bought an 89 Turbo S and now i've got a few more questions. Assuming you don't all run the standard 16" wheels, what tyre pressures do you use? I've got 17" wheels with 205/50s on the front and 255/40s on the rears.

My other question so far is, when not "pressing on" what revs are best for fuel economy? 2K, 3K, 3.5K, etc?

I've got 17's on my S2 and 34front 36rear gives a nice ride and even tyre wear.

36 front and back.

keep it in third until 40+mph. Expect to pay £50 per week for everyday use.

Thanks for the replys, staying in 3rd has improved the fuel consumption quite a bit
