I've noticed tonight that the pound sign seems be getting removed from posts I'm making tonight (Firefox 10.0.2, Win7 Ultimate 64-bit)

Not sure if this is just me or what.

Test data (each figure should be a currency in pounds)

1, 20, 300, 4000

Nope. So it's not the browser?

A language setting?

Interesting.

Well, it's definitely a bug even if it does affect some and not others. smile

I was going to use the BB browser to test with but then it turned out that it's so annoyingly st that I cannot possibly be arsed with it.

Interesting. Posted that last one from my 'droid but on Wi-fi connected to the same ISP as my desktop. Let's try via my mobile carrier next....

Well, I'm all out of options apart from firing up my Linux box or digging out my Nokia N810 running Maemo.

Interesting. So we have major breakage over a number of platforms and browsers then.

So far iPhone and WP7 are the only platforms not broken.
